Celeb Saturday - Anna Wintour & Chic Recycling

The ultimate fashion celebrity, Anna Wintour, is so fascinating, but one of my favorite things about her is her sentiment on wearing the same look multiple times!

Just yesterday, I noticed her at Wimbledon (in Roger Federer’s box, of course!) wearing the same dress she wore in Paris earlier this week.

Back in 2009, Wintour told NY Mag, “I usually wear the same dress twenty times…I think it's always fun to have something new, but it doesn't mean that everything you already have in your closet has to be thrown out, you know? Recycle…It’s totally okay — I even recommend it.”

I personally think it’s an awesome outlook, especially in today’s society! There are so many ways to wear garments in new ways to make them fresh. And who has the money to wear one outfit and toss it in the trash? Anna may, but she practices what she preaches and is practical! I see nothing wrong with that!

Anna’s worst offense came in 2011 where she wore a Balenciaga dress just about everywhere she could! This may be a bit questionable, because it’s so recognizable; but at least she alternated colors! If you look good in something and love it, why not feel confident and show off that dress on MULTIPLE occasions?
