Thrifty Thursday - Outfit Under $100

Since I haven't had time to shop much recently, I thought it would be fun to try to come up with a complete outfit for the fall that's under $100!

I thought I'd go to everyone's favorite online store, ASOS!

I was initially inspired by this mint-ish button up, because I really want some more mint for the fall! It's fun to pair with a lot of colors!

ASOS Oxford Shirt - $20.70

I'm all about mixing colors this fall, because I think men, especially, get stuck in jeans, or black pants, or khakis! It's fun to play, and I think pairing mint with a burnt orange is an interesting and successful color combination!

ASOS Skinny Chinos - $21.56

A nice accessory for a chilly day would be anything blue! I thought this blue snood with a subtle pattern could be fun to mix up the solids on the top and bottom! Blue is a real balancer for the mint and burnt orange combo, I think it's an important addition!

ASOS Fairisle Snood - $9.49

As for the shoes, I came up with a nice combination! I think brown or blue really works here, so I have combinations of all of them - and each have an end result under $100!

One of the many reasons why I love ASOS! A complete outfit WITH shoes for under $80? I'd say that's a success! This was a fun little challenge!

Thrifty Thursday - A Look For Fall

As I said yesterday, I would give you a little more information on what I was wearing!

Surprise, I went on ASOS and starting buying things again! I just can't pass up a good sale!

Last week, ASOS was having a 20% off sale for their new lines, and I couldn't pass up some of the options! I picked up a few and realized they go really well together.

ASOS Denim Shirt - $42.58

This is the denim shirt that I was wearing yesterday! I love it a lot! It fits well and it's perfectly blue denim!

ASOS Brogues in Leather - $54.50

I've been craving some brogues recently, and I'm really excited about this pair! They're just good looking! Not the most comfortable, but I'll break them in! :)

ASOS Tort Poet Clear Lens Glasses - $3.41

How could I pass up $3 glasses? I wear prescription glasses every now and then, but I like the look of "fake" eyeglasses because the lenses on my real glasses make my eyes look smaller than they are; these non prescription lenses, of course, do not. I'll keep them!

I'm glad to see all of these options are still on ASOS in every size! Go pick them up!

Sunday Funday- Inspirational Looks by Fellow Fashion Bloggers

Fashion bloggers are some of the most inspirational people in the fashion industry. Unlike celebrities, bloggers reach an audience of real people AS real people. Most wear pieces of clothing that are accessible to the masses, and all show off personal styles that are uninfluenced by the pressure of being in the public eye.  We bloggers show off our personal styles simply for the pleasure that fashion brings. Zahra of Love Zahra:
Zahra's style is edgy with polish.  She starts with classic silhouettes and clean lines, and then using colors and accessories, makes every ensemble look interesting.

Lydia of Fashion Influx:  
Lydia of Fashion Influx shows us a style that is funky downtown cool.  She mixes girly pieces with tough-girl boots, adds a bit of sex appeal, and creates ensembles that are without-a-doubt perfection.

Olya of Creative Side of Me:
Olya appears to be a cute and bubbly girly girl in her beautiful photographs, but her look isn't all princess. She knows how to mix a bright color or an animal print into an outfit to create a killer look.
