Celeb Saturday - Remembering Princess Diana through Fashion

Princess Diana had quite the life story. The girl turned princess turned celebrity turned fashion icon has influenced the world (and continues to) as a beautiful person inside and out.

Yesterday marked 15 years since she passed, and I thought a look back at her great fashion moments would be a perfect way to remember her!

~-~:::~-~

.The announcement of her engagement to Prince Charles in beautiful blue.

.Full print never looked better.

.Of course, I had to include that wedding dress.

.Classic glamour with incredibly pretty sheen.

.Perfectly bluish purple in this structured look.

.This is peplum done right, in pristine white. ;)

.Embroidered in pearls and sequins, Diana named this the 'Elvis' dress, beautifully designed by Catherine Walker.

.Full red look that's double breasted? Love.

.Stunning mint worn in honor of a visit to Pakistan.

.Her gorgeous Vogue cover, remembering her life.

Did you notice all of the current trends that Diana rocked throughout her life?

There was full length print and color, gorgeously structured menswear inspired pieces, mint, double breasted looks, high luster, peplum??? The list goes on!

And that is why Princess Diana is still a fashion icon! We miss you!

  1. Actually Diana never really was a commoner (she was born into an aristocratic family), but she indeed had quite a life. And plenty of great fashion moments. I'd say you have made a great selection of some of her best fashion moments.

  2. RIP Diana. Definitely a fashion icon. I see a lot of similarities with her style and Kate's. Since I was just a little kid when Diana was alive, I wasn't too familiar with her. But now I really admire Kate's style.
