Twofer Tuesday- Mixed Minimalisitc Prints with Leather

Mixing prints has been an interesting trend for a few seasons now, but I've found a celebrity who has made this trend even more interesting. Emma Watson paired two minimalistic mini-prints with a leather jacket on the red carpet. The top and skirt are girly and sweet, but the leather toughens up the look.

Many of the minimalistic prints available on the market are made in pretty, flowing fabrics just like the separates Emma Watson put together. So, they look beautiful with the structure a leather jacket or vest gives. It's easier to put minimalistic prints together than it is to put large prints together, because simple prints blend aesthetically nicely, while larger prints often contrast with each other and are difficult to pair.

Try two prints in the same color family for a put-together polished look, or contrasting colors for a more daring look (just make sure that your accessories are neutral). Which ever direction you go with this outfit idea, the look will be both pretty and interesting.
